Our Mission: To enhance the lives of Rural Children, Youths, and Women in Uganda through education, health, and livelihood initiatives, empowering them for sustainable futures.
Childcare Support, a US-based nonprofit organization led by women, is dedicated to uplifting poor rural children, children from low-income families (OVCs), and rural partner schools in vulnerable Ugandan communities by providing access to education, health, and livelihood support. We believe that education is a powerful vaccine against poverty, ignorance, and disease.
Our logo, which features a woman holding a baby, symbolizes the vital role women play in childbirth, raising, and nurturing children. This bond between mother and child is the foundation of our mission. We recognize the immense value women bring to families and communities, especially in educating, caring for, and empowering young children. By focusing on this bond, we strive to enhance the well-being of women, youths and children, fostering a supportive and thriving community enabling us focus on:
- Education Support: Especially for the girl child, girl child mothers, and OVCs.
- Skilling Projects: Empowering youths and women through vocational training.
- Sanitation & Hygiene: Revamping old pit latrines and kitchens.

Ensuring Well-being for Communities
Our Health Program is dedicated to ensuring the health and hygiene of rural communities, especially through our Safe Drinking Water Project. We’re committed to providing clean water and sanitation facilities, particularly in schools, where children spend much of their time. This project has a significant impact on improving health outcomes and empowering communities to thrive.
