About US

Our Mission: To enhance the lives of Rural Children, Youths, and Women in Uganda through education, health, and livelihood initiatives, empowering them for sustainable futures.

Childcare Support, a US-based nonprofit organization led by women, is dedicated to uplifting poor rural children, children from low-income families (OVCs), and rural partner schools in vulnerable Ugandan communities by providing access to education, health, and livelihood support. We believe that education is a powerful vaccine against poverty, ignorance, and disease.

Our logo, which features a woman holding a baby, symbolizes the vital role women play in childbirth, raising, and nurturing children. This bond between mother and child is the foundation of our mission. We recognize the immense value women bring to families and communities, especially in educating, caring for, and empowering young children. By focusing on this bond, we strive to enhance the well-being of women, youths and children, fostering a supportive and thriving community enabling us focus on:

With your support, we can continue providing help and opportunities for more children. Join us in making a lasting impact.

Our impact over the last 15 Years

Our Education Program is all about giving rural children, kids from low-income families, and communities in need the tools they need to succeed. We focus on three main areas: Getting every child into school, providing young people with skills they can use for life, and making sure schools and communities have clean water and good sanitation.
